What is the most important lesson you learned this year?
That I know nothing. I learn something new every day and welcome the ignorance because it means I can be better tomorrow than I am today.
What is one good thing you see for the roofing industry in 2025?
Our people. This industry continues to inspire and amaze me. The good-natured, hardworking, amazingly generous, problem-solving, down-to-earth, passionate, pragmatic individuals I’m fortunate enough to meet and work with can do anything. Forget Trump, Elon and DOGE when it comes to fixing government. If we had 535 randomly selected roofing contractors in Congress, we’d be in good shape. I’m proud to be their wingman, and I’m excited for 2025.
